Opened in April 2017, the new SkyTeam Exclusive Lounge at Beijing Capital airport joins a burgeoning network of airport lounges operated by SkyTeam on behalf of member airlines. Other locations include Sydney, Dubai, Istanbul, London, and Hong Kong.
Built in collaboration with local carriers China Eastern and China Southern, the 8,600 sq.f (800 sq.m.) lounge seats 160 guests and follows the design language of other SkyTeam lounges worldwide, Earth tones, curves, and a signature living wall. In addition, the club boasts grand views over the airport grounds.
The SkyTeam lounge features a selection of hot and cold Chinese and international food, a wine bar, self-service computers, shower suites, a relaxation area, as well as a separate VIP room.
Several carriers including China Eastern and China Southern are scheduled to move to Beijing’s new airport south of the city in 2019. The SkyTeam exclusive lounge at Beijing Capital airport will welcome their customers until then.
